A case of inappropriate sexual behaviour in mixed dementia

hibition is recognised as one of the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).1 It can be a difficult, distressing and embarrassing behaviour for carers, families and medical practitioners to manage.2 Inappropriate sexual behaviours have been rated by caregivers as the most difficult symptom of BPSD.3 We present the case of an 87-year-old male patient with mixed dementia, with inappropriate sexual behaviour as reported by his daughters.
